After visiting the temple, I was fortunate to experience one of the best moments of inner peace. The temple is renowned for providing a tranquil and spiritually uplifting environment that truly fosters a sense of inner contentment. Additionally, it holds historical significance as it is known for its association with the Kumaun Regiment, In ancient times, when the soldiers of the Kumaun Regiment faced adversity, they fervently invoked Maa Kalika for assistance. It is believed that Maa Kalika, showcasing her divine powers, ensured the safety and protection of the army soldiers, establishing a profound and enduring connection between the regiment and the temple.
Very peaceful place and having positive energy. Adi Shankaracharya himself in 7th century have established a Sriyantra here which you must see and take blessings. It's a historical place of Maa Kalika devi. Earlier there was eternal holy fire which Adi Shankaracharya shun that fire by mantra and placed there a Sriyantra in that place. So you must see this place while on Uttarakhand tour and take blessings of Mata. It is near from either Pithoragarh or Chaukori.

This temple under kumaon regiment and near of gangolihaat market here and peace full village here but when I visit here only 1 outside couple and a local people visit here but very nice temple haat kalinka temple here
